Urban Nature in Beijing -- (Photos)

People often make the mistake that in big cities there is no such thing as nature. That's definitely not the case and Beijing is no exception. It's all about the way you approach the world and look at it. If you are seeking nature, you will find it.

In my brief time in Beijing, I have come to learn that there is a lot of great nature in the city. I have explored Chaoyang Park and some other small ones and there are many more to visit and enjoy with my cameras!

Here are just a few shots of some wonderful critters that call Beijing home.


Skimmer dragonfly in Chaoyang Park.

Eurasian Magpie. See throughout the city.

Apis Cerana or the Eastern (Asiatic) Honeybee.
